Kylina

Owner, Rider and Trainer

Kylina got the horse bug early on as her mother, Cathy Chalack, breeds and trains horses at their home farm in Carstairs, Alberta. As a junior Kylina competed in the JR hunters, equitations and some jumpers. In 2013 she participated in the CET Regionals in Alberta, winning the flat phase and placing 6th overall. It wasn't until her last junior year that she took on jumpers more seriously. Most notably Kylina took her Grand Prix partner, Allgor, from the 1.00m as a 6yo to the 3* 1.45m, herself. Competing in the U25, national Grand Prixes and FEI events, Kylina and Allgor had much success. Now Kylina looks to bring up a younger string of horses, taking on sales horses as well as teaching clients of all ages, hunters and/or jumpers.

A graduate of California State University, Fresno, Kylina holds her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business (2014-2018). During her time in university she also received a scholarship to be apart of the NCAA Division I Fresno State Equestrian Team. Here she earned many accolades such as helping her team win the UEC Team Championship in 2015, 2x Most Outstanding Player for Over Fences, 1x Most Outstanding Player on the Flat and UEC All Conference Team- Fences.
